Bachelor Thesis in Organic Chemistry

Students who want to write their Bachelor Thesis in Organic Chemistry should finish their OC-F practical course including the reports first. Afterwards, they ask one of the professors in Organic Chemistry (Prof. Schulz, Prof. Lindel, PD Dr. Dickschat, Prof. Grunenberg) for a topic. The topic will be related to and an extension of the experiments of the OC-F practical course. Preferably, the thesis should be guided by the professor in whose group the OC-F practical course was performed, but this is not a strict requirement. The thesis will solely be of theoretical nature, and no further practical work will have to be done. For writing up your thesis you will have two months time. The reports of the OC-F practical course must be submitted as an addendum of the thesis and should be discussed again in its context.
