Friends' Association FIOC e. V.
Tasks
The Friends' Association aims at bringing together all members, friends, and alumni of the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina in Braunschweig to support our institution as a place of fruitful research and teaching. The association purely is a charitable non-profit organisation and is therefore tax-priviledged.
Aims
The Friends' Association will reach its goals by:
1. Supporting scientific work.
2. Offering grants to graduate students for the participation in scientific conferences or guest stays at other research institutes in Germany or abroad.
3. Financiation of scientific meetings; this may include special courses or lecture series.
4. Supply of facilities for all kinds of research and teaching at the Institute of Organic Chemistry.
5. Regular meetings of its members.
